The New Mexico Professional Fire Fighters Association is announcing their endorsement of Harry Teague for Congressional District Two. The NMPFFA represents over 1500 IAFF firefighters across New Mexico in more than 18 cities and counties, including Carlsbad, Las Cruces, Socorro, Deming, Hobbs, Silver City and Artesia.

 

Harry Teague understands what it is like to be struggling to pay the bills and working hard for every penny. His background says he is a working person’s candidate. He is committed to making our jobs as safe as possible by providing us with the equipment, training and vital staffing we need to get the job done and get home in one piece.

 

Harry Teague has also pledged to protect our pensions and retirement healthcare, while allowing us to be eligible for Medicare benefits at an earlier age. He will keep us from having to pay mandatory social security, effectively subsidizing a program we will never be able to use.

 

For many reasons, we believe Harry Teague will protect the interests of firefighters in New Mexico and this is why we give our wholehearted support to his campaign. Congressional District Two needs new leadership and direction. With Harry in Washington we can be assured that we have someone who will listen and take action.

 

But right now the firefighters will take action and elect Harry Teague on November 4^th to United States Congress. We urge you to do the same.
